Energy Saving from Motor Efficiency

Chilled Water pump အတြက္ အသံုးၿပဳေသာ ၿမင္းေကာင္ေရ ၂၅ေကာင္အား (18.7kW) လွ်ပ္စစ္ေမာ္တာတစ္လံုးသည္ 88% efficiency (Standard Efficiency) ရွိၿပီး တစ္ေန့လွ်င္ ၁၂ နာရီေမာင္းႏွင္သည္။ တစ္ႏွစ္လွ်င္ ၃၆၅ရက္လံုးေမာင္းနွင္လွ်င္ ထုိ လွ်ပ္စစ္ေမာ္တာအား 93% efficiency (Premium Efficiency) ရွိေသာ ေမာ္တာ အသစ္ၿဖင့္ေၿပာင္းလဲတပ္ဆင္လုိက္လွ်င္ တစ္ႏွစ္လွ်င္ ေငြမည္မွ် သက္သာမည္နည္း။ Chilled Water pump ၏ ေမာ္တာမ်ားသည္ Full load ၿဖင့္ အခ်ိန္တုိင္းတြင္ေမာင္းႏွင္ေနဟုယူဆပါ။  
ေမာ္တာအသစ္၏တန္ဘုိးမွာ $3000 ၿဖစ္ၿပီး လွ်ပ္စစ္ဓါတ္အားခမွာ $0.15/kWh ၿဖစ္လွ်င္ လေပါင္းမည္မွ်ၾကာလွ်င္ ေမာ္တာအတြက္ကုန္က်ေငြၿပန္လည္ရွိနုိင္မည္နည္း။ Simple Pay Back Period နည္ၿဖင္းတြက္ခ်က္ပါ။


Existing motor
88% efficiency ရွိေသာ ေမာ္တာအေဟာင္း ၏ Input Electrical Power မွာ 21.25kWe ၿဖစ္သည္။
Input Electrical Power for 18.7kW with 88% efficiency = 18.7 / 0.88 = 21.25kWe (input Electrical power)

New motor
93% efficiency ရွိေသာ ေမာ္တာအေဟာင္း ၏ Input Electrical Power မွာ 20.1kWe ၿဖစ္သည္။

Input Electrical Power for 18.7kW with 93% efficiency = 18.7 / 0.93 = 20.1kW (input Electrical power)
ေမာ္တာအသစ္ေၾကာင့္ သက္သာေသာ  kW မွာ 1.14 kW ၿဖစ္သည္။
Saving kW per hour = 21.25kW - 20.1kW = 1.14 kWh


တႏွစ္အတြက္ 4,993.2kWh သက္သာသည္။
For one year kWh saving = 1.14 kWh x 12 hr per day x 365 days = 4,993.2kWh


တႏွစ္အတြက္ $749 သက္သာသည္။
For one year $ saving = 4993.2kW x $0.15/kWh = $749
Simple Pay back period = $3000 / $749 = 4 years ( 48 months)
ေလးႏွစ္ၾကာလွ်င္ ေမာ္တာအသစ္၏ ကုန္က်စရိတ္ 3000$ ၿပန္လည္ရရွိနုိင္သည္။

ေမာ္တာတစ္လံုး၏ Efficiency ကို သိရန္ နည္းလမ္းမ်ား

က) Motor Name Plate မွ ရယူနုိင္သည္။

ခ) Motor Manufacturer မွ ရယူနုိင္သည္။

ဂ) Published Data (NEMA) မွ ရယူနုိင္သည္။

ဃ) တုိင္းတာၿခင္းၿဖင့္(Measurement ) ရယူနုိင္သည္။

Input Electrical power တုိင္းယူနုိင္သည္။ Output Mechnical power ကို Torque ႏွင့္ Speed ကို တုိက္ရုိက္တုိင္းယူၿခင္း သို့ indirect by subtracting losses မွ လည္း ရရွိနုိင္သည္။
